In these times there are sins to be repented of individually and acts to renounce as an organization.  This article will show an act of the past by the NEC Medical Missionaries  and their union with the State or the Mayors office of Brooklyn for a health fair and the present decision now being made by the Northeastern Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists to mandate vaccines. The point is to illustrate that present actions cannot be taken lightly as they will have great bearing on the future. There are many wrongs presently normalized in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church that members and leaders believe that there is nothing to concerned about; its just another day.

Allow me to use a serious perspective from Matthew chapter 25 wherein two groups are presented as being in the judgement: one, the sheep on the right, the other the goat on the left. Notice the mindset of the rejected second group: “Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee? “ Matt 25:44 KJV.  Which means that as far as they were concerned they were feeding the hungry and the thirsty, they were taking in strangers, they believed they were clothing the naked, they thought they were taking care of the sick, and also visiting prisoners, but sad to say the Son of Man said :”…depart from me ye cursed into everlasting fire.” What could have possibly gone wrong that they were so strong about their conviction while in error?

That same mindset is reflected in Isaiah 58, a chapter that illustrates true Medical Missionary work and the same question is asked by these Medical Missionaries: “ Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice: they take delight in approaching to God. Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? Wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge?... Isaiah 58:2-3 KJV. So, in a very literal sense these brethren are on prayer lines every morning and evening, involved in active missionary work, hosting health fairs and doing seminars here and there, claiming converts but God does not even recognize the work that they are doing because of the method they are using.

Many a ministry with large followings are just cumberers of the ground, sad to say the enemy of life is using them to take up space and waste the time of precious souls. Only as a means of clout chasing and securing a crowd following is there work done. Messages in their group chats are unfiltered and members are left to be fed rubbish from any source, there is no consistent present truth, there is no form for the outworking of the gospel, but they say we are doing Medical Missionary work. I put it to you reader that many ministries are not operating after God’s order and it is best to avoid those. As matter of fact the alpha of apostasy came through the health work with John Harvey Kellogg and his pantheistic theories where the principles of God were being disjointed.

Jesus Christ stands as the true example of Medical Missionary work and how this work aught to be done is reflected in the Gospel. In Luke 4:18KJV it says that “the Spirit of the Lord [is] upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,  To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” Bound up in the work of healing is the preaching of the second coming of Jesus Christ, preceding the second coming of Jesus Christ, the three angels message must be preached, preaching the three angels message involves calls for separation from the world; it forms and customs, to warn against the mark of the beast that will be enforced by the Dragon or Civil Government that will have the unclean spirit like frogs proceeding from it. How then can the Northeastern Conference Health Department headed by Pastor Leroy Daley engage in a Holy work with sponsorship from the Office of the Brooklyn Borough President Eric Williams on September 18,2019? Well one may say it was the past and it has no present relevance. That act was a clear statement that prophesied of the present compromise made by the church on the matter of vaccination. Yes, the Medical Missionary which should be the means of bringing the men of the world to the truth was the means of association with unbelievers to bring the church under the dictates of the state hence why this powerful quote below:

Conformity to worldly customs converts the church to the world. It never converts the world to Christ. “The friendship of the world is enmity with God. Whosoever therefore will be a friend of the world is the enemy of God.” How can the loyal subjects of the Great King be in harmony with his bitterest foe? When the professed people of God choose the fellowship of the world, what marvel that the presence and blessing of Christ is shut out from the church? { RH June 20, 1882, par. 15 }

So if the worldly custom is to unite to get acceptance and to build a network, that is not Christs order. Hence, we see the results; Can you imagine the confusion that the Mayor of Brooklyn Eric Adams would experience having recently worked with the Northeastern Conference's Health Ministries Department who were advocating a healthy lifestyle as means of preventing and fighting diseases now taking a stand for the vaccine and encouraging others to take the vaccine? This is the result of uniting with the state in order to do God’s work; it results in confusion. The next question to be asked is what will these leaders do when the Sunday Law will be enforced? Will they just miraculously turn from following the dictates of the state? Many of the compromises were a long time coming, step by step. The following quote is further emphasis.

You are not to unite with unbelievers in medical work. Neither is this the Lord’s plan. His word to you is, “Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them, and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” MM46

Northeastern Conference's Statement Regarding Not Providing Exemptions to Membership

The above letter is the fruit of such union, it is interesting to note that the conference refused to give exemption letters right before New York State voted that religious exemptions will not be acceptable. What would have been the consequence if the conference gave exemption letters but the state disregarded them? It would put the conference in direct conflict with the state and membership is what the conference does not intend to fight for at this time. There was no fruit or useful outcome from the rubbing shoulders with the world that they may favorably consider us given we want to be peculiar sticking to health laws and not vaccines. May God help us! Fighting within and fears without. 

So, the mindset that is very dangerous to Medical Missionaries is one claiming to do Gods work while working on another plan. Northeastern Conference’s act is much like that of many ministries using a stripped health work, separating it from the other features of Adventism such as the coming Sunday Law and the Mark of the Beast to make it pleasing or palatable to the world so as to secure their friendship. This is highlighted in Counsels on Health page 516 “In our efforts to relieve temporal necessities, we are in danger of separating from the last gospel message its leading and most urgent features. As it has been carried on in some places, the medical missionary work has absorbed talent and means that belong to other lines of the work, and the effort in lines more directly spiritual has been neglected.” The author has been removed from the NEC’s Medical Missionaries group chat for sharing the above quote while the group was planning to go to a Sunday church on Sabbath to do health work but were enjoined not to hold any spiritual discussions on spiritual matters relating to our peculiarities. Such short-sightedness is a neglect of the fact that the very health message is what will prompt persons to learn more of what we believe. And why should we not give the message for this time? So sad a case that some of the Medical Missionaries believe that they should get a chaplaincy certification from the State in order to have access to the world to share God's truth, with such a mindset one can recognize why such members would fail to speak on certain topics lest they hurt the feelings of their state masters. The  reality is that the simple would think that the act of this article is instigated by hate, anger or unforgiveness. The author is interested in the brethren not be led astray in the name of Jesus Christ and the leaders recognize the need for repentance. Why? The goats in the second group of Matthew 25 believe they were doing God’s work but their service were not in reality accepted by God. They were cast into everlasting fire, let this be an urge in the right the direction that God is a Spirit and they that worship him must worship him in Spirit and in Truth.

With that said what is the encouragement from the Lord:

“Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where [is] the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk [therein].  Jeremiah 6:16 KJV
