The endorsement, praise and accolades of the world is heaped upon the graduate, who then make it their studied purpose to gain as much money for as little physical effort as possible. The blessing that could be gained is thus missed. “Many look upon work as a curse, originating with the enemy of souls. This is a mistaken idea. God gave labor to man as a blessing, to occupy his mind, to strengthen his body, and to develop his faculties. Adam labored in the garden of Eden, and he found in mental and physical activity the highest pleasures of his holy existence.
Which means that as far as they were concerned they were feeding the hungry and the thirsty, they were taking in strangers, they believed they were clothing the naked, they thought they were taking care of the sick, and also visiting prisoners, but sad to say the Son of Man said :”…depart from me ye cursed into everlasting fire.” What could have possibly gone wrong that they were so strong about their conviction while in error?
It now brings to question do our leaders even understand the Principle of Liberty of Conscience? Inalienable rights? Separation of Church & State? Oh God have mercy! hence the scriptures declares in Isaiah 3:12 "O my people, they which lead thee cause thee to err, and destroy the way of thy paths."The church that is called to be a bulwark against such encroachments is now on the other side of the Freedom Fence.
In the Bible ‘hornet’ is mentioned 3 times; Exodus 23:28, Deuteronomy 7:20 and Joshua 24:12. In Exodus 23:28 it says that the Lord will send hornets to drive out the nations that were in the land of Canaan. Deuteronomy 7:20 says the Lord will send the hornet among these nations until those that are left will hide themselves from the children of Israel and the children of Israel will destroy them.
Is the prophecy saying that in the last days God's leadership representative will unite with the apostate woman, the papacy and will cause them to be sold out to evil leading God's people Israel in a state of national ruin? Oh yes. Will God's people be so confused that they don’t know true worship or who is the true God? Oh yes. Will they hunt and seek to expel and blame the messengers of the Elijah message as the problem in the church and the reason for no dew or rain? Oh yes.
Ahab and Jezebel saw the prophets of God as a threat to national security and as the cause of the climate crisis that they faced. Elijah was called a troubler and he was blamed for the climate crisis of his days, but he met the leader of God’s people with a direct message that they were the problem in Israel because of false worship in forsaking the commandments of Yahweh 1 Kings 18:17-18.
When we need to know something spiritual, we consult the pastor or priest, the authority on God’s Word. When we need to know something about our body, we consult the medical doctors, the authorities on our bodies. See the trend? We have been taught to place our faith in men. Fallible men just like ourselves.
The drive to obtain the needed dollar consumes the thoughts and occupies the time. All this is considered normal and even natural by some. The mind has been conditioned to function at a level of survival, thus the temporary becomes more important than the eternal. Things of this earth are continually flashed before the mind and thus weighs heavier on the mind than things of the hereafter.
Shouldn’t the peace and confidence in God help us to exhibit a spirit that would lead men to enquire of the God we serve? As men’s hearts fail them for fear, for looking after those things that are coming upon the earth, shouldn’t we, because of our experience offer them an alternative that restores to them their peace of mind?
